
Tonia Porter
Office Director
Tonia has been with Crossroads since November, 2007. She is married to her husband, Barry, of 27 years. Together they have two children, Paige and Jacob, whom also work in veterinary medicine. Her family has 2 dogs, Brownie, a Shepherd mix, and Oliver, a Shih Tzu. Tonia enjoys gardening, photography, and shopping.

Mary Ann Mackovich
Veterinary Nurse
Mary Ann has always loved working with animals. She began working for animal shelters in her home state of Pennsylvania in 1984. In 1990, she became involved in training Thoroughbred racehorses, which brought her to Kentucky in 1995. She retired from working with large animals and came to work for us at Crossroads in August, 2002. Mary Ann has a family that includes 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 birds and a tank full of fish.

Elizabeth May
Veterinary Nurse
Elizabeth has worked at Crossroads Veterinary Clinic since July of 2004. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2006, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Science. She currently has 2 small boys, Shaun and Jackson, that keep her and her husband, Brandon, extremely busy on a daily basis. Elizabeth has 1 Boxer, Otis and several cats.

Ronnie Sams
Veterinary Assistant
Ronnie joined Crossroads in October, 2012. He is a Senior in high school and is planning to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. He has a small herd of registered Nigerian Dwarf breeding goats, a farm cat, and helps produce grass fed beef and pastured poultry on his family farm. He has also raised a variety of other animals on his farm. Ronnie enjoys working with his animals, playing basketball, running, hunting, and spending time with his friends and family.
